C’River SUBEB to supply motorcycles to aid monitoring

The Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board (CR-SUBEB) has taken delivery of 34 motorcycles under 2018 UBE Intervention fund to enhance monitoring of primary schools in the State.
The motorcycles which will be given to quality assurance officers of the eighteen local Government Education Authorities (LGEAs) in the state is to enhance access to schools. 
The Executive Chairman, SUBEB, Dr Stephen Odey stated that the motorcycles will go a long way in improving monitoring of schools and checkmating teachers activities across the State.
According to him "Due to the difficult terrain in the State, we found it necessary to purchase these motorcycles for monitoring staff in the LGEA offices across the state. They can now have more access to our schools.
While appealing to staff to take proper care of the motorcycles when it gets in their custody, he further urged them to ensure that they are regularly maintained and used for its prescribed purpose.
