LGA Polls: Boki PDP chairmanship candidate emerges

As part of activities geared towards the conduct of Local Government Area elections in Cross River come February 2020, the Boki LGA People’s Democratic Party PDP chairmanship candidate has emerged NEGROIDHAVEN has confirmed. 
In an election conducted Thursday, Pastor John Ewa polled a total of 59 votes to defeat his closest rival, Mr Ewa Obi who scored 4 votes, Leo Kidze got 1 vote and Jonathan Osang who scored one vote.
It should be recalled that Ewa served as the past Chairman of Boki LGA Security Council constituted by Governor Ben Ayade. George Odok a journalist with NAN who is intimate with the development said that Ewa demonstrated enormous capacity especially in mediating peace between the warring communities in Boki.
