Ekorinim Town Council cautions against leasing, selling, disposing, assigning or developing her land

Ekorinim Town Council in Calabar Municipality has drawn the attention of the general public as well as private developers and purchasers of landed property against vested interest in lands especially in a section of the community designated as Ekorinim Town II. 
The said council who did so recently through a public notice issued by the community's traditional authority and signed by Chief Nyong Eyo Ekpo the Village head, Pastor Ekpoho Edet and Okon E. Iyasa the youth informed the public that leasing, selling, disposing, assigning or developing of land acquired in Ekorinim is only tenable when acquired from the community through the town's council authority and not an individual. 
The council used the opportunity to invite the public particularly those affected for updating of records with the council bringing relevant documents to authenticate ownership. The failure to do so will be seen eventually as trespassing.
