Three days ago, NEGROIDHAVEN reported about the biggest fire outbreak in six months which occurred at Ikom Main Market in Ikom LGA of Cross River.
Updates from the incident has it that, the fire outbreak started about 2.30AM, affecting about 30 shops along the Provision Line in Ikom Main Market.
A source, Praise Achima Eju, revealed that this incident is the biggest fire outbreak so far in the past six months at the market. Continuing, Eju said, ‘there is need to upgrade the Ikom fire service as non was on ground to help fight the fire’.
