Comr. Iso Bassey Edim and thirty seven others have successfully constituted the Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River state NEGROIDHAVEN can report authoritatively.
Chief Mark Nomba Ayo, Mr Benedict Lukpata and Comr. Iso Edim emerged State Chairman, State Deputy Chairman and State Secretary respectively of the Caretaker Committee of the APC in Cross River.
This development is contained in the communique addressed to the National Secretary of the Interim Management Committee of the APC, APC Cross River BOT member Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba SAN, Leader of APC in Cross River Clement Ebri and all leaders and stakeholders of the party in the state, issued on the 9th of December 2020 by ‘critical stakeholders of the APC in Cross River state’, addressing ‘The Need for a Neutral and United Caretaker Committee in Cross River State Chapter’, and signed by Bendebel Ishamali, Hon. Moses Eyaba and Chief Alex Essien.
The Communique cited by our correspondent states in part ‘the following persons were nominated by the Elders, Grassroots and majority of the stakeholders of the party domiciled in Cross River state to pilot the affairs of the party in Cross River state to work with the Interim Management Committee and proffer a wholistic (sic) solution to the advancement of the cause of our party’.
Reportedly, this decision is endorsed by over 120,000 members of the APC across the state.
