Nigeria, Africa most populous country, has been described as a state actually designed to fail NEGROIDHAVEN has confirmed.

International development consultant, Princewill Odidi, resident in Atlanta in the state of Georgia made this salient observation this week when he said through his Social Media account that, ‘Recently I have been having conversations with several opinion leaders and other stakeholders in the Nigerian project.

‘There seem to be a general consensus that Nigeria as currently organized, with an unproductive bureaucracy, corrupt judiciary, a commoditized electorate and and a political elite group who specializes in primitive accumulation of capital, cannot be fixed as currently organized’.

The Converner of the Nigerian Conversation further noted that the challenge with the biggest Black nation may not necessarily be a leadership problem as it is held by some pundits. For Odidi, the systemic constitution of the country is already faulty. He suggested that the peoples need to sit down to reconsider its collective existence.

‘It may not necessarily be a leadership problem, a bad vehicle is a bad vehicle irrespective of the skills and training of the driver. Going forward, we really need to sit together and redefine our collective existence as a nation. Nigeria as currently constituted and the systemic failure of her institutions is organized to fail,’ Odidi concluded.

Olu Fagorusi agreed with Odidi in the following words ‘Everything seems to be deliberately programmed against public service delivery: The 1999 Constitution that allows for the most expensive Presidential system globally, the quota system that compromised using the highly groomed/proficient human resources, soft landing (based on ethnic, religion or political alignment) for many confirmed high tech treasury looters, delay justice, lack of continuity of projects etc. We need national rebirth, from the household upward if we really want desirable change in orientation’.

Ernest Lekweke corroborated Odidi when he noted that ‘This is very important to note. A skilful driver handling a faulty vehicle may not be able to showcase his driving skills. Unfortunately, those who designed Nigeria and are still sitting down at the helm of affairs, are not willing to accept any changes against their desires. Obviously, we need to do more than we are currently doing in order to increase the chances of taking the country back to the people. It will not be easy though. But, just like Queen Esther, in the bible…’if we perish, we perish”.

But, Aka Thomas Shella noted while querying that ‘The people that design (sic) Nigeria structure to fail are all gone why not we use the working tools that was design by Nigerians at the National Conference of all Nigerians that came together to put ideas that will make this country work.’
