University of Cross River State, UNICROSS (formerly known as Cross River University of Technology, CRUTECH) has recorded successful accreditation of her academic programmes by Nigerian Universities Commission, NUC.
According to the Cornelius Ellah the Head of Department of Mass Communication in UNICROSS ‘‘No programme got ‘denied accreditation’.

Details of the accreditation like the particular programmes and the number of programmes accredited by the NUC are yet to be made public.
