Three local governments in two senatorial districts have been alleged to have suffered utter neglects during the almost 8 years reign of the incumbent governor of Cross River state NEGROIDHAVEN can report.
Agba Jalingo a journalist and activist has claimed that Governor Ben Ayade did not cite any projects in Akpabuyo and Calabar South Local Government Areas of Cross River south, and Abi LGA in Cross River Central.
He made this allegation in an opinion piece tagged ‘Go and Verify’ published on his Facebook account.
According to Jalingo, ‘Not much was planned for the LGA (Akpabuyo) because it is contiguous to Bakassi and the spill over from the other projects in Bakassi particularly the Seaport, was expected to balance up. However they were majorly affected by the initial activities around the construction of the super highway’.
