In an exciting development, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) training is set to kick off in the Central and Northern Senatorial districts of Cross River state this December 2023. This initiative, spearheaded by Rev. Mrs. Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, the Wife of the Governor of Cross River State, has already made significant strides in the Southern Senatorial district NEGROIDHAVEN has confirmed.
The “Girls in STEM” project, an integral component of this initiative, has successfully trained over 600 girls in secondary schools across the Southern Senatorial district. The curriculum encompasses key areas such as Robotics, Basic Computing, Coding, and Gaming. The project is more than a training program; it’s a visionary effort to guide, mentor, and direct young minds toward pursuing careers and courses in STEM.
