Akamkpa– The Vice Chancellor of the University of Education and Entrepreneurship (UEE) Akamkpa, Prof. Patrick N. Asuquo, has recently announced a series of new appointments across key administrative and academic positions NEGROIDHAVEN has confirmed.
In an official statement signed by Comr. Agbor Francis A., Senior Information Officer, the Vice Chancellor approved the appointments of Dr. Ugbong Benedict Igboh as the Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration) and Chief Mrs. Patience O. Ebam as the Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics).
The university also named acting deans for various faculties:
– Faculty of Arts and Humanities Education – Dr. Effiom Bassey Ene
– Faculty of Entrepreneurship Studies – Dr. Ndem-Ndifon Joseph Nkom
– Faculty of Professional Education – Dr. Oshiomu Augustine Odido
– Faculty of Social Science Education – Dr. Ogar Timothy Okey
– Faculty of Science Education – Dr. Ndem Nsungo Udo
Several departments also saw changes in leadership. Among the notable appointments are:
– Christian Religious Studies Education – Dr. Fidelis Igbege Ajah
– Languages Education – Dr. Nsa Okon Asuquo
– History Education – Dr. Akah Pius Odey
– Music Education – Dr. Anthony Elizabeth Bebuo
– Agricultural Education – Dr. Angela Victor Anangabor
– Business Education – Dr. Otu Aniema Edet
– Cultural & Creative Arts Education – Mr. Itaya Francis Bassey
Other appointments were made in the faculties of Professional Education, Social Science Education, and Science Education, with new heads in disciplines such as Home Economics, Economics Education, Political Science Education, and Computer Science Education.
The Vice Chancellor also approved new leadership for key directorates:

A second press release, issued on April 3, 2025, further expanded the appointments, naming:
– Dr. Etta Victor Ojong as Acting Director of ICT
– Mr. Obo Uka Bassey as Acting Dean, Student Affairs
– Mr. Peter Ejukwa as Acting Admission Officer
In addition, Dr. Angela Victor Anangabor retained her position as Acting Head of Agricultural Education, while Dr. Etorti Imoke John was assigned to Mathematics Education, and Mrs. Edom Itam Ekpenyong was placed in charge of Home Economics Education.
The statement emphasized that all appointments take immediate effect and supersede previous officeholders.
