President Buhari Retires C’ River-born Service Chief, Ibas. See the Reasons

Unconfirmed reports making the rounds has it that the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has approved the retirement of Yakurr, Cross River-born Chief of Naval Staff(CNS), Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas.
According to Nigerian Bulletin, an online newspaper, Ibas belonged to the Regular Course 26 of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) who was commissioned in 1983. He has just spent 33 years in service out of the constitutional 35 years who was born on September 27, 1960 (just 56 of years old). 
Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Gabriel Olonishakin was also affected in this compulsory retirement.
