4th Session Nigerian Youth Parliamentarian, Cynthia Ogbang, Earns International Election Observer Accreditation

Abidjan, Ivory Coast – Hon. Cynthia Iroushu Akwaji Ogbang, a member of the 4th Session of the Nigerian Youth Parliament, has been officially accredited as an International Election Observer by the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA) NEGROIDHAVEN can report.

The recognition came following her successful participation in the ECOWAS Core Team Election Observation Training, held at the Noom Hotel in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

The intensive programme, organised under the auspices of ECOWAS, brought together 14 distinguished participants from across West Africa. Attendees included three representatives from Ghana, alongside delegates from The Gambia, Senegal, Nigeria, Togo, Benin, and Liberia.

Participants were equipped with in-depth knowledge and practical skills on election management, monitoring, and observation — tools vital to ensuring credible and transparent electoral processes across the region.

Ogbang is an international elections observer for over a decade. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages and Translation from the University of Calabar, and a Master’s Degree in International Relations – Diplomacy from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon.
