It may interest you to know that Aloe Vera plants are not just for beatification but has nutritional benefits for our health.  This is a plant known for its healing properties and is used in many cosmetic and hair product. We have over 200 different species of aloe Vera that grow in dry region around the world. Aloe Vera contain some nutrients that helps in balancing the immune system and smoothing  the skin texture when used externally. It also helps in healing and repair of stomach ulcer. Aloe Vera contains anti-fungal, anti-bacteria, and anti-viral that aid the immune system to cleanse itself of toxins and invading pathogens. It decreases inflammation in bowel syndrome and colitis. When applied on the skin, it heals burns and wounds and stimulates cell regeneration. It is good for cut, insects sting, bruises, blemishes, skin ulcers and Eczema.              Aloe Vera can be taken by mouth as this helps to lower cholesterol, increases blood generation in lower extremities of people with poor circulation, good for AIDS and for skin and digestion disorder. The useful parts of aloe Vera are the gel and latex. The gel is obtained from the inner part of the leaf while the latex is obtain from the cells beneath the leaf skin with a yellowish colour. Allergic reactions, though rare , may occur in susceptible persons. Before use, apply a small amount behind the ear or on the under arm, if stinging or rash occurs do not use. Should not be taken internally during pregnancy. Used for peptic ulcer and digestive disorder.
