NEWS : Inspector General Of Police Appoints First Female Force Spokesperson.

According to The Guardian, Mr Solomon Arase, the Inspector General Of Police (IGP) has approved the appointment of Acting ACP, Olabisi Kolawole as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO). 
This is contained in a statement issued by the Deputy Force public Relations Officers, CSP Abayomi Shogunle in Abuja on Friday. 
Kolawole is the first female police officer to be appointed as National Police Spokesperson. The statement said that the appointment was geared towards harnessing the enormous potentials among Nigerian female Police Officers 
Kolawole holds a first degree in Law From Ogun state University, and a masters degree in public leadership and management from University of Leicester, United Kingdom. She replaced CP Emmanuel Ojukwu, who is now the Commissioner of Police, Kogi State command. 
Similarly, Acting ACP Idowu Owohunwa has been appointed as the principal staff officer (PSO) to the Inspector General Of Police.
