RE: Major Akpang Obi Odu And His Antics Of Shame.

It has come to my understanding that Major Akpang Obi Odu the challenger of Jaribe Agom Jaribe may be playing some political gimmicks with a personal tune to it.

The ex-military officer with experience in warfare and survival techniques, having received news that the University of Calabar had cleared the man he is accusing of forgery, has taken yet another delve at Jaribe.

Major Akpang Obi Odu has alleged that Jaribe Agom Jaribe is after his siblings life, colleagues and associates, friends and well wishers, including lawyers representing him at the tribunal.

In a press release to PunchOnline news, the retired major of the Nigerian Army issued an application to the AIG alleging threats to life and therefore requested that he be provided with security personnel that will protect his life and that of his immediate families, friends, colleagues and associates.

Honorable Jaribe Agom Jaribe condemned in strong terms these untruthful allegations. Hon Agom Jaribe wishes to advise that his picture on that publication be removed immediately. He wishes to inform Hon Akpang Obiodu to be more responsible in his assertions and allegations aimed at cheap blackmail and character assassination. Since it is Akpang Obi Odu that's the petitioner, Agom wishes to know why he's picture will be used in that publication.

In a call to Hon Jaribe, Hon Jaribe stated that this is strange to him:

"I have never bullied anyone in my life. Is he saying that I operate like a terrorist? If he has issues with cult gangs he should go ahead and solve his issues. He shouldn't add me to his personal problems. We have a case in court, why all this media searchlight and attention? Is he now playing to media gallery?"

He continued: " Perhaps he has gotten the information that the University of  Calabar has finally lived up to its expectations and have cleared my name. This is his annoyance. I have never, and will never develop any intention to harm any member of the public or political opponent. I therefore want to use this medium to advise all my supporters to desist from any action that's detrimental to public security and order. I wish to plead with my supporters even on Facebook to be mindful of what they write. Please you should all remain law-abiding  and prayerful. Please do not give the devil an opportunity to use you".

"This matter is in court and petitioning the AIG over a matter in court is sub-judice. It is my advice that Major Akpang Obi Odu stop his mediating media attention on the matter already in court".

Thank you".
