Almost a week ago, one of Governor Ben Ayade's media aide, Inok Solomon, went to town to rationalise the policy of his principal within the framework of Karl Marx's socio-economic theory in what has been described by intellectuals as a poor rendition and rationalisation of both Marx's and fashioning out of his principal's public policy for the year 2015-2019. Notable among these critics is the academic, Ifere Paul, a Cross River born China based Environmental Activist and public policy analyst who accused Inok Solomon of been responsible for the poor public perception of Gov. Ayade.

However, in an attempt to cushion the overwhelming weight of the critical reactions that attended the social media thread posted by Solomon, another aide to Ayade, namely, Mr. Ajie Paul Abang Abang, replied Ifere Paul asking the later what has been his contributions to the wellbeing of Cross River to which Paul responded.

Below is an excerpt of Paul's articulation of his contributions to Cross River State under the Ben Ayade's administration.

'My Response To One of The Ayade Media Rats.

1. I personally kicked against the policy of cutting down 1 tree and planting 3 trees of the Ben Ayade
and brought the management of the forest for sustainability. I recommended a new task force in
my arguments. That's a policy framework. This article has been adopted by South African Park
Conservation Authority. Whenever it appears on a journal I will make it available online.

2. I kicked against exploitation of residents of Calabar metropolis on the sale of waste and proffered the transfer of waste management to
CUDA which was adopted by the government.

3. I proffered solutions on the management of the Superhighway EIA and other preliminary aspect of
all signature projects. The recommendations were rejected by the governor. But the aftermath of that was the cancellation of first PMB visit to Calabar.

4. I made recommendations on water and shortage of water supply in Calabar and went on to design
sustainable power generating modalities using water in-pipe pressure for the water board. Ask
your friend Inok, he offered to even pick me at the airport.

5. My garment factory ideas brought ta lot of improvement in the GF template generation. I went on to organize a mentorship program for
entrepreneurs that have a vision to invest in other related aspects of the GF. That mentorship was attended by people being sponsored by Jeddy Agba.

6. Today we are talking of 4G internet streaming in CRS. That was my idea and recommendations to
government. I went further by recommending companies to the government and which they hide
themselves and went to China.

7. As I speak now, the government is considering merging some of his new ministries to form a little not too bloated cabinet. Read my article and recommendations on that on my timelines.

8. I criticize the lack of linkages and access roads on the Superhighway. The government accepted the
creation of linkages to some LGA to access the SHW. You will find the conversation between me and the governor on my timeline. You can also access newspunch.com to read about my interview on that.

9. I recommended the retention of foreign donor projects when Ayade said they could cut off their services to the State. Several weeks ago, the
deputy governor had a meeting with all donors projects to reactivate worsening relationship. All that
you can find on my timeline.

I'm still doing more. This is for the generality of CrossRiverians including my people. I have no international awards like the governor. But for the governor accepting my recommendations on policy issues and adopting them is the best awards ever accorded me.
You as an aide to the governor, what has been your contribution on policy formulation and debate? You pride yourself as an aide, why allow those that are not aides take over your jobs as policy advocate of the people of CRS?

All You do everyday is to attack people with your lack of education. I wonder where Ayade got all these illiterates doubling as aides. What kind of professor would do that? Just wondering out loud.'

This publication has become important in the attempt to underscore the positive contributions of critics of the state government to the body-politic of Cross River contrary to the position of aides and sympathisers of the government that are quite critical of these critics.

From every indication, the governor's media aides especially Christian Ita, Declan Genesis-Ogar, Ajie Paul Abang Abang, Inok Solomon, Eval Asikong, etc are not worthy of their public offices and tax payers' money in their coffers. They do their principal profound disservice in that there is a communication gap between the government and the governed as it borders on the policy articulation of the former.

Therefore, unbehalf of the masses, the downtrodden of the state who are the direct recipients of the obvious policylessness of the Ben Ayade administration we are calling for the immediate sack of the governor's media aides, to wit, Christian Ita(Special Adviser -Media), Eval Asikong(Personal Assistant -Social Media), and Inok Solomon (Personal Assistant -Media). This will save the face of the present state administration.
