Prince Thomas Abi Jr. Commiserates With Victims Of Ikom Market Fire Disaster

A public affairs analyst/social commentator, Prince Thomas Abi Jr. has expressed sadness over the Ikom market fire disaster that took place in Ikom local government area of Cross River State destroying over 40 shops. 

In a statement made available to news men, Prince Abi expressed sadness over the inferno that took place in the state and urged the management of the Ikom market to immediately carry out measures that are geared towards preventing fire disaster. 

He said he was deeply saddened by the loss of property worth millions of Naira putting the victims of the destroyed shops into untold hardship stating that the incident would have been arrested if the fire service team had arrived on time. 

Prince Abi called on the Cross River State government through the State Emergency Management Agency(SEMA) to immediately investigate the actual cause of the incident and provide aid to the victims of the incidence.
