Yesterday 31 March 2016, the wife of Nigeria's Vice President, Dolapo Osinbajo, paid a visit to the troubled people of Agatu in Benue State.

She is reported to have gone there to present relieve items to the left over of the Fulani Herdsmen massacre. However, critical remarks have trailed her humanitarian gesture.

Critics have it that Mrs Dolapo presented a meagre some of items especially considering her status in society and the number of persons affected. It's said that she gave, 'five bags of rice, 5 cartons of Cowbell, 5 cartons of Kings Oil, 5 cartons of Spaghetti and a carton of Tomato to over 50 thousand people…'. More insulting to the people is that she came in a presidential jet to make her donation considered too small.

Some have perceived it to be 'an insult and wickedness' even questioning the much-talked about 'change' the APC touted during the 2015 general elections.

Are the critics of Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo right in perceiving her humanitarian gesture this way?
