Yesterday 25 June the Qua of Calabar conferred the prestigious title of 'Ntufam' on the National Vice Chairman (South South) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Hilliard Eta and the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Professor Zana I. Akpagu.
The ceremony took place at the Ibom Layout Palace of the Grand Patriarch of the Qua nation as well as Paramount Ruler of Calabar Municipality, HRM Ndidem Dr. Patrick Inok Oqua Agbor V.
Other distinguished awardees were Mrs Winifred Akpagu who was honoured with 'Ntukae', wife of Professor Zana Akpagu, APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie Oyegun, Barr. and Mrs. MBA Ukweni, Rev. Fr. Basil Kevin Akpan, Hon. Oqua Edet Oqua, among others.
