You will recall that Governor Ben Ayade's Special Adviser on Strategy and National Contact, Raymond Ugba Murphy, resigned his Special Advisership through a letter dated 18 July 2016 citing three reasons: state lean financial resources, the refusal of the governor to officially seek his advice and the attitude of even declining them when offered and official indolence.
Yesterday 28 July about 6:00PM, the disappointed former aide took to his social media timeline to register the above statements. He labels the ruling PDP a damaged brand far beyond redemption. And by the clause: Another party is the way to go, suggest very strongly that he is defecting to the opposition All Progressives Congress-APC.
