The Non Governmental Organisation Coalition for Environment( NGOCE) in Cross River State recently concluded a Social Media Capacity Building Training.
The training had over 20 people in attendance across Local Communities in Cross River State.

This was meant to keep the rural people abreast of the things happening on the internet, so they can be up to date. Despite the ongoing harassment and intimidation the Chairman of NGOCE, Chief Odigha Odigha, is facing from the state government, he has resolved to continue protecting the Cross River Rainforest and see how the rights of the people can be protected, as well as fight poverty and ignorance in the land.

Odigha seems to be launching a fool blown social activist war against the government of Cross River State in view of frustrating the destruction of the state rainforest by the present administration. By training members of these indigenous communities on the use of social media, they will immediately upload any and every instance of wood logging, deforestation, etc that agents of government embark on the the view of the entire world. Hmmmm… wahala deh ooooo for we state.
