No group of persons have supported the government of Mr. Ben Ayade than the Ogoja man/woman yet his tales of false promises leaves less to be desired about his government. The most affected from failed promises seems to be people from the north. The benefit of his immediate community from his government seems to be increasing cult activities and security challenges

During his campaign as the senator representing Northern Senatorial District,  Mr. Ayade promised industrializing Bekwara local government area. Till date no company has indicated interest in the project, but all we hear are lies in the name of the who is Governor, always quick to promise with no commitment to fulfill his promises.

There is much noise about the signature project. In mention is the super high way and the deep sea port. The Ogoja international airport clearly spelt out in the inauguration brochure and openly promised has been left out. Is it because the project was planned to be sited in Ogoja? In his words, the Ogoja international airport was to be completed before the end of his first year in office. Till date the project is not only forgotten but not even mentioned.

In his Thanksgiving service, Mr. Ayade promised Obudu people constant power supply. True to his words some generator sets have been provided to power Obudu. Be that as it may, recently a notice has been given that all house hold are to be taxed N7,000.00 to fuel and to power the generators. Is this a way of extortion or making business? Come to think of it, admitted that the rumours may be false, who is to provide fuel to power the generators after the tenure of Mr. Ayade?

During his senatorial campaign, the Garment Factory was awarded as a project for the northern senatorial district. Today the project has been moved from Obudu to Calabar with Cross River State funds used to enlarge Ayade's personal business.

Is Ayade Benedict truly from the North? Does he worth our support or is he just there to rob Peter and pay Paul. I pray the North have not made a mistake in it's choice of Ayade.
