The Cross River State Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), as part of its vision to materialise the Internet of Things policy of the state governor, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade, has started a robust holiday training in various skills acquisition schemes like Computer Appreciation/Application, Knitting, Photography, Fashion Design, Bead making, Adult Literacy Training, Social Media, Networking, Software Development etc.

The classes are for both physically challenged and others. Enabled to Enable, American Corner and other NGOs are collaborating with the ICT Ministry under the Commissionerhip of Chief Offu Aya for the success of these programmes.

According to the media aide to the Commissioner, Prince Adjah Adjah 'The Commissioner for ICT has therefore advised parents to send their children there to keep them busy and useful during this period of long holiday'.
