Reports have it that in the Saturday 30 July launching for the CRUTECH alumni centre building at Transcorp Hotels, the Chairman of the occasion, NDDC Chairman-designate, Sen. Victor Ndoma-Egba (SAN) and Chief Launcher, retired Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Commission (NNPC) as well as APC gubernatorial candidate in the 2015 general elections in the state, Mr Odey Ochicha both respectively donated the sum of 1 million Naira (promising to donate another 2 million Naira as construction work commences) and 5 million Naira.
The occasion realised the sum of N12 million from total launchings. It is posited that the bill of quantity for the alumni complex is valued at four hundred million Naira (N400, 000, 000).
The state-of-the-art centre will comprise such features as 500 seaters capacity auditorium, ICT centre of 50 Computer systems, guest house, indoor sport facilities among others.
