The new Chelsea Italian manager Antonio Conte who has zeal and passion for winning at all cost, is looking forward to having more time working with his players as their absence from Champions League would give them more opportunity to mount more challenge for the Premiership title.

He was quoted by Evening Standard as saying; "Not playing in the Champions League could be an opportunity because I will be able to work more with my players,

"If you ask me if I prefer this situation, I don't because Chelsea must be in this competition. You do feel like you're missing something when you're not involved in the Champions League. It is a special competition and you want to play in it every year.

"But because we are not, I will have a whole week to train with my players and that gives me a chance to work with them more compared to Chelsea managers in previous seasons.''

Conte who won the Scudetto with Italian Champions Juventus three consecutive seasons, did so for Juventus 2011/2012 when they were absent from Champions League football. And he is looking forward to emulate such opportunity.

The hard working manager who takes delight in winning only against all odds, is already looking forward to instinct and restore back winning mentality to the club and the team.

He was quoted as sating;”My players know me from Italy, all the people, all the managers,” said Conte. “All the people know who Antonio Conte is. In this situation I always want to win. I work very hard to win.

“I find peace in myself after the game when I win. For this reason I want to work very hard and find different solutions to give options to my players. Only when I win am I relaxed.

“It’s important when you lose because you learn. You try to see why you didn’t win. You learn a lot in yourself but to win is a beautiful thing.”

It would be fascinating to see how Conte deals with losses due to the heavy competition in the Premiership.
