Beneficiaries of the humanitarian gesture from Government Secondary School Barracks Road, Calabar

A trio of amazingly youthful beautiful ladies operating under the aegis of The Sleek Sisters Movement (TSSMovement) have donated no fewer than two hundred Sanitary Pads to teenagers of secondary school in Calabar, the Cross River State capital city NegroidHaven can authoritatively inform.
This humanitarian gesture took place on
the 15th February 2017 at Government Secondary School Barracks Road, Calabar where hundreds of these girls were given sanitary pads. According to one of The Sleek Sisters, Miss Marvellous Ikpi ‘our vision is to provide enough knowledge, attention, information for the girl child which will help her in building herself for the global and tough world, this is our first project and we still plan on working on other projects too.’

This is commendable I must confess. Instead of encouraging premarital sex among youths by giving them various contraceptives, the donation of sanitary Padst is a best option. The argument is that it’s not compulsory to have sex, but the menstrual cycle of a lady especially for teens is inescapable.

Thumbs up to the trio of Francisca Effiom, Winifred Eval and Marvellous Ikpi. You ladies rock!
