Controversial Nigerian public affairs analyst and acclaimed social change agent, Joseph Odok Esq., Ph.D, has recently held the opinion that the Executive Governor of Cross River is in the service of the divine in ousting incumbent Senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Mr John Owan-Enoh, from Nigeria's Red Chamber NegroidHaven can report.
The university lecturer who aired his perspective earlier this week claims he has asked aides to Owan-Enoh to reel out the achievements of the distinguished Senator having spent 18 years in the Senate without any responding. He proceeded to highlight the defects of the public officer under contention.
According to Odok, 'For three years I have challenged Owan Enoh's aides to tell us his executed  constituency project and the number of bills he has passed  for his 18 years in government but have not got any reply.
'A man that could :
*put his own cousin Obi Steve in prison in Calabar for challenging him,
*petition me to the Inspector General of Police,
*use his position as Chairman Senate committee on Finance and Appropriation to stop allocation for constituency project of his Cross River State brother and colleague Hon Chris Etta for political reasons,
*confiscate Etara land for private business with no compensation,
*use money for constituency project to build hotels and run private business,
*give peanuts to hungry guys around him for propaganda and praise singing,
*coverted all the land in Agbokim up to cross boundary to buy almost all the forest land in Biajua village linking Agbokim Water Falls with constituency allocation, should not be given another opportunity to lead us.
For Odok, the alleged disposition of Governor Ben Ayade to replace Sen. Owan-Enoh with Hon. Bassey Ewa of Abi/Yakurr Federal constituency at the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is God using the governor against Owan-Enoh:
'A person is not bad in all things, God is using Ayade Benedict to stop Owan Enoh's return to Senate. I consider him the worst politician in this generation'.
Is Odok now amongst the prophets to have the rare capacity of discerning divine intervention in human affairs? Or, don't we think that what goes around —former Gov. Liyel Imoke ousted Sen. Victor Ndoma-Egba SAN by similar high handedness during the 2014/2015 general elections, comes around —incumbent Governor Ayade allegedly planning to kick Owan-Enoh from the same Senate to foist crony on Central Cross River? Time will tell.
