Popular social commentator, Prince Thomas Abi Jr., has commended the Honourable Member representing Ogoja/Yala Federal constituency at the House of Representatives over the educational empowerment initiative embarked by the latter last week.
Prince Abi, yesterday, said that quality education is the foundation of society. He stressed that investing into education as a form of constituency project was getting it right. The youthful social commentator who observed that no nation can succeed without sound education noted that he was delighted that Hon. Jarigbe was deciding to empower constituents educationally.
His statements reads in part, 'The bedrock of any society is giving the youth quality and sound Education.
'Distributing Mathematics and English books shows we have got it right this time around in our developmental drive as a people.
'No nation can succeed without the provision of a good and sound education especially in key areas of English and Mathematics. And I am happy, Hon Jarigbe has decided to give knowledge to his people.
'Knowledge is power! The distribution of books by Hon Jarigbe Agom is one of the best form of empowerment any Leader can give his people.
'Rather than arming the people to fight, arm them with knowledge.'
Recall that last week, Hon. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe had distributed books to Mount Carmel and Mary Knoll colleges, among other forms of empowerment. Prince Abi was enthralled by the initiative bordering on education.
