Pst Usani Uguru Usani, Nigeria's Minister of Niger Delta Affairs Ministry, Wednesday, advocated for a united Nigeria positing that the country’s geography in the world map is strategic for the two reasons of God's move on the African continent and her sovereignty NegroidHaven can report authoritatively.
He added that Nigeria, a nation promising hope on a global scale has potential whose unity are relatively far weightier and comprehensive. He observed that our disagreement isn't peculiar but human while noting that secession will destroy our dreams as a country. He finally declared his status as a Nigerian. Excerpt,
'The geographical space Nigeria occupies in the world map is strategic; not only in the sovereignty of her boarders, but in God's move on the African continent. Nigeria stands as beacon of Hope to the peoples of the world. Her unity is of more far-reaching positive consequence than any sort of division on whatever lines. The potentials of a united Nigerian front is far weightier and more comprehensive than otherwise.
'People all over the world have disagreed with themselves over a long list of issues, and will continue to disagree over issues of survival and interests, so the Nigerian case of disagreement is neither perculiar nor special; it is human. What we ought to do as a people, at any instance of misunderstanding, is to channel our energies on what unites us (especially our humanity), and agree to harness our most vital potentials, so as to convert them to building a society we dream our children to inherit. Proposing a secession is not a solution to our quarrels.
'Any form of secession will ultimately destroy the Nigeria of our dreams and all that the country portends; in potentialities and actualities. If those who propose a secession of Nigeria channel their energies towards the unity, strength and success of Nigeria, we will be a better success story.
'The proposition of secession will plunge this geographical space into one of perpetual chaos, thereafter.
