Sunday 28th August, NegroidHaven reported about the condemnable activities of rascals going by the eerie nomenclature, Skylow and Scorpion, how they turned Ekpo Abasi in Calabar South into their theatre of rivalry http://www.negroidhaven.org/2017/08/how-scorpions-and-skylow-rocked-ekpo.html?m=1

As at yesterday, sources have it that at least, one life had been lost to the orgy of these two rival gangsters groups. Their nefarious activity transpired between 8 and 9:30PM of Sunday.
A resident of Calabar South and publisher of TheWarden best captured the incident thus: 'The fierce encounter of the dominating kids cult group named SKYLO nicknamed SKIN, was felt around Ekpo Abasi axis and it's environ and beyond yesterday Sunday 27th, 2017 as they invaded the area in search of a rivalry cult group member, the Scorpion.
'Unfortunately, the prey from the scorpion was found around his domicile as the angry scavenging blood sucking demons descended on him in the full glare of commuters and businessmen and women without any resent or fear of the acclaimed tight security by the government.
'Shots were fired into his chest with series of machete cut to confirm his mortality. In the mist of these which took about 5minutes, no security presence was felt'.
The Police or Homeland Security is yet to confirm Mr Inyang's story.
Also, one of our sources revealed that another life may have been lost yesterday at Ansa Ewa off Ewa Ekeng, Calabar South. NegroidHaven is yet to ascertain its relationship to the already initiated gang war.
Meanwhile, available information concerning the Borum Palm Estate brouhaha suggests that the community has resorted to war. According to one Mr Joseph Odok, an indigene of Boki LGA and acclaimed social change agent, the crises in the said community revolves around the Secretary to the Government of Cross River State, Tina Agbor Esq and Hon Mark Obi over battle for the political leadership of Boki nation.
His words, 'information available to me says that there is full blown war in Borum today. This is because of rivalry between militant 1 allegedly sponsored by Hon Mark Obi and Militant 2, allegedly sponsored by the SSG Tina Banku Agbor.
'The Borum community had been initiated into the drive of SSG to take control of the estate from militant 1 using state powers, promise of appointment or plots of estates. This has put the SSG in favour of the community and propelled local Chiefs to support her take over of the estate from the militant 1 group
'As at yesterday night militant 1 from the neighborhood of Oku and Ogep Osokom community joined their counterparts in Borum to fight militants 2 equipped with guns and dangerous weapons. Militant 2 loyal to SSG are have the singular instructions to silence militant 1 to take over the estate
'The success of militant 2 means the SSG Tina Banku Agbor is politically relevant than Hon Mark Obi while the continuous occupation of the estate by militant 1 tells of the supremacy of Hon Mark Obi. Both militant 1 and militant 2 operate with illegally acquired guns and are loyal to some sponsors. They are also some affiliations to some cult groups in both camps of militant 1 and militant 2
'The Ochibe Bokyi has met and directed a stay of actions about the taking over of the estate until all issues are resolved. It is alleged that the SSG needs political relevance to boast her interest in Boki/Ikom Federal House of representatives elections, she suspect her main rival Hon Mark Obi may also be interested or may gain enough strength to to stop her ambition if she does not hit hard on him using government apparatus.
'The Boki youths are put at risk, the politician  are sacrificing   Boki peace for personal interest and political relevance, the CRS government is saying nothing while life and property is continually threatened'.

However, a Boki indigene and Senior Defense Journalist, Mr George Odok Jnr., has condemned the activities of youths in being allowed to be used by politicians. In his exact words, 'Shame on some Boki youths who have allowed themselves to be used by politicians to fight and kill over the oil palm estate.'
It's quite unfortunate that Nigerian youths still allow themselves to be used as canon boys by politicians.
I am calling on the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Mr Ben Ayade, to wade into the brouhaha and caution his aides with penchant for war. With Cross River being in tourist state and our getting into the festive period especially the Carnival Calabar 2017 edition, this isn't the time to mismanage our security situation. I am also calling on the Commissioner for Police to be up and doing.
