It was indeed a memorable Saturday, last week as family members, friends and well-wishers of the Ishabors gathered to celebrate with the family of Mr and Mrs Paul Ishabor, in thanksgiving to God for sparing Mr Ishabor’s life in a fatal auto-crash that occurred two months ago at Obubra, and blessing of a new family home.
The event also witnessed the birthday celebration of one of the Ishabors, Jasmine Ishabor, as she turned plus one. Children and friends of Jasmine came in their numbers to celebrate the lovely daughter of Barr. Ishabor. The atmosphere was electrifying with gaiety and there was much love in the air as everybody thanked God for His abundant blessings on Barr. Ishabor. The event served as a unifying ground for people from all works of life in Cross River State and everybody danced in thanksgiving.

Youths from Ogoja also came in their numbers to celebrate with their chairmanship aspirant for the forthcoming Local Government election in Ogoja.
Barr. Ishabor thanked everybody for coming and prayed for the leadership of Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade and for peace and harmony to reign in Ogoja Local Government and Cross River State at large.
From political party-men, to political appointees, etc the event was graced by so much splendor and unconditional love. Prominent faces at the event included the Cross River State Commissioner for Power, Hon. Thomas Udam. Also at the event was a two time member of the House of Assembly, Hon. Peter Igbodor, the South-South Zonal Auditor of the PDP, Hon. Paddy Egbede, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Projects Monitoring, Engr. Thomas Aruku, the State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Mr. Egbung Odama, Wife of Chief of Staff to Governor of Cross River State. Wife of DG, Urban Renewal, Commissioner, Local Government Service Commission, Mr. Paddy Ilok, DG, CRS Investment Promotion, Arc John Etim Bassey others too numerous to mention.
