The Japanese Goverment has indicated interest in partnering the Cross River State Goverment in order to develop the educational sector in Cross River State NegroidHaven can report.
This initiative for partnership in terms of the state accessing grants for infrastructural interventions for state-owned academic institutions and scholarships/exchange programs for student of the state is in line with Governor Ben Ayade's vision of evolving an educationally developed state.
The room for partnership/intervention was initiated by request from the Office of the Special Assistant to the Governor on Student Affairs and Youth Mobilization-Prince Michael Nku Abuo.
Details of the partnership will be discussed with a state delwgaion at the Japanese Embassy in Abuja after the Salah public holidays.
Japan is one of the most advanced economy in the world and is one of the world largest donors and offers scholarships to foreigners etc. This drive is therefore a welcome development for a state that is tagged as Educationally Less Developed.
