University of Calabar's (UNICAL), Calabar tenth and first ever alumnus Vice Chancellor, Prof. Zana I. Akpagu, has recorded two years in office as substantive VC with a shake-up in his two years ago appointments into key management offices NegroidHaven has learnt.
Akpagu has made appointments in respect of PreDegree, ICT, Students Affairs, etc directorates as well as designated establishments in the University.
From reliable information made available to NegroidHaven, the list of new appointments reads thus:
*Dr Samson Nzuanke of Department of Modern Languages takes over from Dr Franca Bassey as Director of Pre-Degree;
*Prof Anthony Akpan of Physics Department takes over from Dr Michael Okom as Director of ICT;
*Dr Enang Udah of Economics Department takes over from Prof Felix Allan as Dean of Student Affairs;
*Dr Isaac Okeme Of Business Education Department takes over from Prof Lucy Udida as Coordinator of Sandwich Programme;
*Prof Lucy Udida was elevated to the position of Deputy Vice Chancellor —Administration;
*Mr Jude Ogar appointed Manager of UNICAL Printing Press.
