The intervention of President Buhari in the stoppage of the tenure elongation of the National Chairman of APC Chief John Oyegun and members of his exco may bring some changes that may unearth some compromised decision of the party that had led to crisis in some States Chapter of APC.
One of the issues that will be looked into is the determination of the authentic State Chairman of the party in CRS.
Reliable information from the National APC Secretariat of APC has it that there are series of petitions that lie with regards the emergence of Hon Etim John as the Cross River State APC chairman. A source in the National Secretariat and a member of NWC reliable told me that NEC has formed a committee to look into the petitions that lie as it bothers on the election of Hon Etim John.
It is to be recalled that last NEC meeting was attended by Sir John Ochala while recently held NEC meeting was attended by Hon Etim John. It is worthy of note that attendance of NEC meeting validates the authentic APC State Chairman. However, some aggrieved members of APC Cross River insist that Chief John Oyegun was compromised in the election of Hon Etim John as the Cross River State APC chairman.
The ball of who is the authentic APC State Chairmen of CRS lies on the table of His Excellency Bola Tinubu's Reconciliation Committee .
Who is the authentic APC Cross River State Chairman? Only time shall tell.
