International development expert, social entrepreneur, political pundit and social commentator, Mr Princewill Odidi, has submitted that one shouldn't engage in a battle especially with the state when (s)he lacks the requisite capacity to do so NegroidHaven can say. Odidi made this remark recently when he bore his mind on the ongoing travails of the lawmaker representing Kogi West in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mr Dino Melaye.
Odidi's statements which suggested that Melaye may have been inspired by some power centers in the political establishment, said that at the point of challenges, your sponsors will desert you.
According to him, 'Never pick a fight if you are not prepared to face the consequence or fight back in equal capacity. Dino Melaye to spend 38 days in Prison awaiting trial. The accusations may be true or may be framed, he may be healthy or faking sick. But one lesson to learn: Never pick a fight if you are not prepared to face the consequence or fight back in equal capacity.
'At the end of the day those sponsoring you to fight will sit back and laugh at your travails. Since he had previously attempted to runaway, it is obvious bail will be denied.
'I have ceased making appeals for Politicians, I feel majority of them cannot be trusted. They are a reflection of our society. As for me, if the judgement follows due process and tenets of the law, then the simple message is no one is above the law'.
Odidi added that the apparatus of the state are so gargantuan that a single individual may find it difficult to fight against it
'To fight a state, it’s political and legal instruments, you must be ready in all ramifications.'

Who could be behind Melaye's present ordeal: President Buhari, Tinubu the APC chieftain, Bello his state governor or even the APC his party? Hmmmm!
