Mr Koko Bassey, a social media user based in Calabar, Nigeria has outlined nine shocking things the Executive Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Governor Ben Ayade did in preparation for the historic visits of Mr Muhammadu Buhari, president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Tuesday for the commissioning of the automated Rice Seeds and Seedlings Factory in Calabar.

According to Bassey, potholes were patched, power supply was unprecedented, security was top notch street lights lighting in the day, general cleanliness, water supply steady, outrageous tax regimes suspended and the yet-to-be-commissioned project already spewing billion of naira.

2. Steady power supply for over 3days
3. Security agents and details every nook and cranny in the city
4. Street lights are even on during the day
5. All dump stands cleared
6. No taxi enforcement officers on the streets
7. Water has refused to flow in some parts of the city
8. Above all the rice city is developing billions of naira already for the state. ( please who are the staffs of the rice city project).

If all this was possible just because of a one day visit, why is government not inclined to providing these services all the time!? Political will underscores the response, methinks.
