The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Cross River State Command of the Nigerian Police, Ms Iren Ugbo, was Monday, officially decorated as a new Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) having been recently promoted from the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police NegroidHaven can report authoritatively. 
DSP Ugbo who was full of gratitude to the grace of God and the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr Ibrahim K. Idris said that God has figured her out for the promotion. She added that promotion at work inspires more hard work and responsibility. 
The newly decorated DSP said this immediately after her decoration in Calabar at the headquarters of the Cross River State Police Command. According to her, ‘Sincerely, I want to give all the glory to God, it’s only by the grace of God…Because, if not for the grace of God, I wouldn’t have been promoted. But, God has figured me out for this promotion. It’s a thing of joy. 
‘Secondly, I want to sincerely thank the Inspector General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris, he too has made it possible for us to be promoted. 
‘Being promoted gives you reasons for more hard work; this promotion has given us reasons to be very hardworking, more responsible to our duties and more delighted at our duties’.

The decoration of over fifty newly promoted police officers yesterday at the headquarters of the state command of the Nigerian Police was performed by the Commissioner for Police, Mr Hafiz Inuwa. 
Congratulations to Ms Ugbo and her numerous colleagues who were yesterday decorated accordingly.
