The Post Graduate Students Government (PGSG) of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) as led by Comr Abanda J. Uket, Wednesday, terminated its tenure NegroidHaven has confirmed. Accordingly, it constituted a 5-man electoral committee headed by Comr Usain Ofem J. as Chairman.
The other members are as follows:
*Ani Augustine -Secretary
*Irene Ituen -Treasurer
*Eko Odidi -Member
*Ugwu S. Chidubem -Member.
The dissolution congress held at Open Pavilion, University of Calabar with the attendance of Post Graduate Students of all extraction of the University.
Recall that on Tuesday 31st October 2017, Uket was elected with a total vote of 148 to clinch on the presidency of PGSG beating Comr Raymond Christian Ezikwa with 146 votes. Uket was subsequently subinaugurated on the 5th of Nov 2017.
