Our correspondent got wind of this development today at the High Court complex, venue of the National Assembly Election Tribunal, Calabar which commenced hearing at 9:30AM.
Esor, senatorial candidates of the SDP who had earlier filed a petition, challenging the outcome of February 19th Presidential/National Assembly election result on grounds of exclusion  through his counsel said that his praying for a cancellation on the premises that
as a democrat, he believes in and accepts the verdict of the outcome of that election, that he has put the events of that election behind him and seeks for a peaceful and progressive senatorial district. Accordingly, the tribunal struck out the case of Esor against Onor.
Esor congratulates the winner, Ntufam Onor and wish him a productive, people oriented, all inclusive representation.
