May Day: NAGGMDP chief commends Ayade over prompt payment of salaries

His Excellency the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prof. Benedict Ayade has been commended over what has been described in some quarters as prompt payment of salaries to staff of the state civil service NEGROIDHAVEN has learnt.
In a letter dated 30th April 2019, titled ‘May Day 2019 Felicitation’ and signed by Dr Freeman Jabengo the state chair of National Association of Government General Medical and Dental Practitioners, NAGGMDP Cross River Chapter the state governor was eulogised to be ‘an innovative and committed public servant with a knack for the happiness of the people’. 
‘The ingenuity that has characterised the administration of the state in the past four years especially in the prompt payment of salaries to staff of the state civil service is worth commending. So, my organisation —her leadership and members, could not do better than eulogise His Excellency on the 2019 edition of Workers’ Day to commend the state governor and his entire cabinet ‘, The letter of felicitation continued. 
Jabengo who is the pioneer Director of Welfare of Nigerian Medical Association, NMA in the state used the opportunity to officially congratulate His Excellency on his well deserving landslide victory at the just concluded 2019 general elections in the state. 
The letter concluded with a charge to the governor to sustain the enviable feats he has so far recorded in important segments of society especially the health sector.
