The just concluded State-wide National Youth Council of Nigeria's, NYCN elections into the executive cadre of the eighteen local government chapters has been confirmed to be generally peaceful especially in Calabar South and Odukpani local government areas NEGROIDHAVEN can say authoritatively.
The elections into the eleven offices which constitute the executive of each of the eighteen local government areas particularly in Calabar South was said to have transpired in just twenty minutes from the point of commencement of the electoral process.
Comrade Eyo Boco JP the Returning Officer for Calabar South observed that, 'incidentally, the elections in Calabar South was unusually peaceful'.
