Comrade Godwin Nyiam, the Director General of the Department of Public Transportation, has handed over the driver and team leader of the operation, that led to the death of the trader at Watt market last week to the police.
This is to enable the police carryout investigation to unravel the reason behind the DOPT personnel attempt to escape from Watt while attempting to clear traders from the road.
The action according Comrade Nyiam is to ensure that justice is done and assured the family of the deceased that everything will be done to ensure that justice is fully done.
He called on the public to remain calm while the police carry out their investigation.
