Commissioner Local Gov’t Affairs Stella Odey, meets with LG Administrators on Council’s budget

Governor Ben Ayade has reiterated his commitment to the development of local government areas as captured by the 2020 local government budget of the 18 councils in the state NEGROIDHAVEN can say.
In a meeting held with the 18 Head of Local Government Administrations (HOLGAS) and chaired by the Honourable Commissioner of Ministry Of Local Government Affairs, Hon.Mrs Stella Odey in company with the chief of staff to his Excellency, Chief Martin Orim.
The commissioner emphasized the passion of His Excellency, Professor, Sir Ben Ayade in ensuring that governance gets to the grassroots. She said this can only be achieved if the HOLGA's captured all the budget items in their councils budget. Mrs Stella Odey pointed out that if projects that meets the need of the people are not captured in the budget, it will be difficult for the release of funds no matter how laudable which will be due to the medium term expenditure frame work budget system that is operational in the state.
The Hon. Commissioner informed the head of administrators council that the budget of the various councils will be meticulously executed to ensure even development in all the councils. 
In their response, the Heads of Local government administration thanked his Excellency, Professor, Sir Ben Ayade for giving them the privilege to serve in their various councils and promised that they will do their best in ensuring that the Governor's desire for the well being of the people of the state in their various councils is actualized as they have captured all that is needful for the purpose in their council's budget.
