Late Prince Otu Otu Duke

Late Prince Otu Otu Duke, who passed on, on the 3rd of April 2020, owing to medical complications after undergoing hernia surgery, Friday, was interred in Calabar, Cross River. 
While reading the biography of the deceased (by one the children of the deceased), it was disclosed that the late Duke was born on 30th of October, 1959, as the fourth son to the family of late chief Otu Duke and Elder (chief) Mrs Amayo Duke of blessed memory.


The deceased was the pioneer vice chair of the People’s Democratic Party in Calabar South in 1998, SA for communication, Calabar South LGA and the SA on waste management to Cross River State governor, Prof Ben Ayade.
In a homily, Pastor Ubah Samuel spoke on the subject: Alpha and Omega, where he emphasised that it is appointed unto the human person to die, after which is judgment. He said the essence of life on earth was the attainment of eternal life, which only salvation can guarantee. The preacher went further to state that death was inevitable, an as such people should endeavour to live a life that is worthy of emulation and also leave a lasting legacy behind.
