CALABAR – Kids Tech Hub, a Calabar-based technology training centre, has officially launched its Summer AI, STEM & Robotics Camp, offering young learners hands-on training in coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, and digital creativity.
The camp, themed “Gathering Geniuses,” is scheduled to run from Monday, 3rd August to Friday, 28th August 2026, with daily sessions from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It is open to children and teenagers aged 3 to 18 years, grouped into four categories: Little Tech Explorers (ages 3–5), Future Explorers (ages 5–8), Junior Innovators (ages 9–12), and Teen Tech Leaders (ages 13–18).
According to the organisers, participants will be exposed to a wide range of cutting-edge subjects, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Coding and Programming, Robotics and Engineering, App Development, Website Design, Cybersecurity Awareness, and Digital Creativity and Design. Students will also receive training in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, as well as Public Speaking and Leadership.
The camp promises a hands-on learning experience, with students building real-world projects such as traffic light systems, 2WD robots, burglar alarms, and drones. They will also create games, animations, websites, and apps, and participate in innovation challenges and team projects.
A highlight of the camp is the Kids Tech Hub AI & STEM Expo 2026, a grand finale event where parents and guests will witness student projects, inventions, robotics demonstrations, websites, apps, AI creations, and other STEM innovations. Participants will receive certificates, awards, and recognition for their achievements.
Kids Tech Hub is offering free robotics kits for first-time registrants. The camp also provides a boarding option for participants from outside Calabar, with a day and boarding arrangement available.
