In this issue Emmanuel Undie, one of the numerous political associates of Prof. Ben Ayade, who incidentally is from the northern senatorial district of the state from where also the governor hails and had supported his candidature as governor during the PDP primary of December 2015 as well as defended some of his policies while in government has taken to his social media account to bear his mind on some salient political issues like the Monorail, the trend of deliberate deception by the Ben Ayade administration, amongst others.

'Obviously, like anybody else would, I have learnt to cut down on the observations I put up and the issues I pay attention to. This is because for now, I feel it is a waste of time.
In the past, I was interested in what the State government does only to the extent that individual contributions usually leaves a positive mark behind the times.
With this government, I think none of that should be expected. And I think the government and its
principals should not be taken seriously.

Ifere brought up very sensitive issues that in themselves, sound like Ayade has been lying,
deliberately; trying to deceive the people, consciously; misleading his followers, seriously and has made up his mind not to change, unfortunately!

I don't know what those who don't want me or others to point out these things expect from people with my kind of mind. I'm sorry, but on my part, my argument is based on principle. I really started out
making those suggestions because I wanted Ayade, a governor from Northern CRS to succeed. But my
suggestions were misconstrued for selfish reasons. Now, like a humongous plane in an avoidable
turbulence, definitely heading for a crash, Ayade and his administration can not just be taken seriously by any serious-minded person.

Those in the administration who are supporting and fighting his battles are doing all that without
recruitment letters, in fact. Which makes the whole thing not-so-funny. They are fighting his battles
thinking something will finally come out of it. My big issue is the fact that Ayade is so unreliable, he will not even remember these that are bearing his burdens. If he doesn't remember those of us that bore his burdens in the past, and he has done it characteristically, is it anybody doing it now that he will remember?

Our Bible says all liars shall have their part in Hell fire. If the government thinks they can just lie because this is politics, it won't go far with them. I have my friends there in government who were so convinced that this Monorail thing will get up and run as promised
by the governor. He trusted his boss so much he felt we should watch out for the realization of the promise. He didn't understand how his boss
wouldn't know that the thing will not work. I insisted that as far as what I know is concerned, there is no way under this sun that that rail will see the heat of the operations by the end of the year. Today ends
the year. Are the engines steaming? I would want to know. These are lies. These are items of disservice
to the people.

We can not think it is one of those
things. Whoever wants to crucify me, do so. But one day, these lies will start haunting all those involved. Then, we will see who is on the side of the people and who is only deceiving us for his selfish reasons.'

Perceptions of these nature and seeming culpability in the negative trend observed above have contributed to giving His Excellency what is perceived to be a 'low public rating as governor'. We want to believe that the governor will take the advice of cutting down on mouthing policies he knows may not be realise-able in his stint as the CEO of the state. Deliberate deception of the people isn't advisable in a democracy owing to the fact that in any democracy, politics is all about the people.
