The Special Adviser to the Local Government Council Chair of Obudu, Mr Agogo has recently decried the poor security infrastructure in his local government area of influence, Obudu. This recent position self negate the position the security officer held at a more latter date when he praised the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Obudu and HE the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade, over the solid security situation in the local government area.

On June 24,12:37am this is what Agogo said: 'So my child is not safe in handmaids international primary and nursery school obudu? Hmmmmmmmmmm'. This incited a handful of reactions from Cross Riverians of Obudu extraction and otherwise.

Whereas, on the June 17 at 11:48pm Agogo had said this on his social media account: 'OBUDU: New Divisional Police Officer (DPO) DSP Obeten goes tough, cracked down criminals and suspected cultists the LGA is  now calm and quite  even as partial restrictions on drinking joints and okada begins from 2200hrs daily.hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm'.

He proceeded the next day to reaffirm his previous position on the security situation in the state when he noted on the 18 of June around 7:38am, barely seven hours later that: 'Additional hilux vans ,15 MOPOL new Dpo courtesy of Governor Ben Ayade robbery and kidnapping is now history. Congrats hmmmmmm'.

With communal wars here and there in the state, cult gangs rivalry, kidnapping, broad day light murder in cold blood, etc the security infrastructure of Cross River State seem to have crumbled like a packs of card. I am calling on His Excellency Senator Ben Ayade, State Security Adviser Jude Ngaji, the Police and relevant security agencies to prioritise the security of lives and properties in the state. This is the first responsibility of government .
