Unverified reports reaching our news desk has it that as at yesterday no fewer than four lives have fallen in an ongoing spree of bloodletting by members of notorious gangs in Ikom local government area.
In Calabar, Cross River State capital city especially at the southern axis there was a similar rivalry that reportedly took ten lives.

It seems youths in Cross River State are increasingly becoming weaponised. If this assertion is positive, it should be emphasised that it’s an ugly trend that is evolving in a hitherto peaceful, hospitable and serene state. All hands should be on deck to address this unwholesome phenomenon.
