Across the eighteen local government areas of Cross River, no fewer than forty technicians have been empowered in the line of their trade NEGROIDHAVEN has garnered.

Forty members under the aegis of Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) were recipient of forty tool boxes collectively estimated at twenty five million Naira (N25,000,000).

The event which took place last week at the northern senatorial district of the state in the Ammasco-NATA Tool Empowerment ceremony was the culmination of the raffle draw exercise that had commenced since 2020.

According to the Cross River chair of NATA, Technician John Ayabie, ‘We are very happy by this gesture from Ammasco Oil Ltd… the promo had been on since last year November, if you purchased 3 non-synthetic oil products you were eligible for a raffle draw ticket. But, technicians from the northern part of the state benefited more than those of us in the south because of a lackadaisical attitude on the part of my members’.

Technician Ayabie who observed that the year 2021 has not been easy going in terms of financial inflows used the opportunity to encourage all practicing technicians to identify with NATA. He informed that there are ongoing moves to incorporate artisans under the big umbrella of NATA.

‘I’ll like every technician who is practicing to formally join NATA. It will help you to be identified, benefit from our activities and be covered’, Ayabie concluded.
