Tuesday night witnessed the rape and kidnap of a female student at Arthur Jarvis University, AJU in Akpabuyo.
According to a netizen by name, PandoraGilbz Undie, ‘Arthur Jarvis University is experiencing an unrest currently as a student was allegedly raped before being kidnapped few hours ago. The school has no fence and has a terrible road plus they turn off generator by 10pm…
‘One student was lucky to escape but she sustained an injury, a very deep cut… She was stripped naked before they took her as her clothes were found at the spot that they took her.’

According to an AIT report, State Commissioner of Police, Aminu Alhassan has deployed Anti-Cultism, Anti-Kidnapping and Dragon Squads to the University community to comb neighbouring forest for rescue of raped and kidnapped student.
AIT added that the kidnappers were in their numbers shooting sporadically before kidnapping the victim.
According to an amateurish video footage, the security staff at the school was seen to have been arrested and put inside a navy truck for suspectedly conniving with the kidnappers.
